Tour description:
Sunrises offer the perfect backdrop for stunning photography, and there’s no better place to experience this than atop Mount Krom. As you ride to the summit, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views stretching from the southern lakes to the north of Siem Reap, all illuminated by the vibrant hues of the rising sun. Our guide will point out the highlights, so be sure to bring your camera or binoculars! After taking in the sights, enjoy a delicious local breakfast followed by a scenic boat ride through the Floating Village.

Tour itinerary:
Pick-up time is flexible, with a suggested start at 5 AM. Our guide and scooter driver will pick you up from your hotel in Siem Reap and take you by motorbike to Phnom Krom (Mount Krom), where you’ll find the best vantage points for capturing the sunrise. While enjoying the view, learn about the local villagers’ lives and their work on Tonle Sap Lake, including fishing, making Prohok (fish paste), and crocodile farming. After sunrise, we’ll head back down for a delicious local breakfast featuring steamed rice with deep-fried chicken or noodle soup with pork, accompanied by a cup of coffee. Next, we’ll drive to the boat pier on Tonle Sap Lake to board a local boat for a 1.5-hour journey (ideal from July to February) to see the floating schools, markets, and police stations, and witness the daily lives of communities living on the lake. Finally, we’ll return to Siem Reap.
